1 twin), 3 bathrooms. Downstairs large
games room, a bedroom and a shower. we are on a hillside above the charming and lovely old Caminha. From our house, it is a 5 minute walk to the Minho river. It is also nice to walk along the cobbled lanes in the village. Behind us are hills, villages for lovely walks. A 5 minute drive away is Foz do Minho, the mouth of the Minho river, where there is a sandbar beach. There are calm conditions for river-swimming: ideal for children. On the coastal side is the open sea and a long beach to Moledo. This beach is one of the best in Europe for windsurfing and kitesurfing, and is good for surfing. The river is calm and wide and it is possible to rent kayaks and go on guided excursions. Bikes are also available for hire. There is a ferry at nearby Caminha, which goes across the river to Guarda in Galicia, Spain. Here are stunning hills with wild horses and a rugged coastline up to Baiona to explore: great for ,the second town of Portugal is only 50 minutes away.
